Question: What is men's ministry? And what is this foyer?
Answer: The 'foyer' is just a metaphor to represent the design of the page. I thought it looked like a 'foyer'. Men's ministry refers to all the ways that men can carry out their roles (jobs, tasks) in the church. That can include numerous roles in the governance of the local church, working in the kitchen, leading groups, doing repairs - the list goes on.
There was a time -- in the middle of the 20th century -- when the national church had oversight of and support for men's clubs. But as the last regional newsletter (see door 3) tells us, that scheme began to disappear starting in the 1970s. But men are still involved in all the ways mentioned above.
